Robin Annlot
Robin Annlot studied art at SUNY Potsdam. She’s continued her creative pursuits through consistent practice, local exhibitions, and classes. Robin uses art to slow the pace of life through meditative focus
on her chosen subjects. She favors uncluttered compositions that convey harmony and a sense of calm.
The aim of her still life work is not photo-realism, but an honest rendering that elevates the beauty of commonplace objects. Robin resides in Penfield, NY and is a member of the Penfield Art Association.

Brenda Lyness
I create “objective” and “non-objective” contemporary art using bold color schemes and high-contrast compositions. I don’t enjoy planning for a piece. I love the happy accidents that occur as I push paint. Ever-changing, evolving, alive, dynamic! It’s finished when I see it, and when I feel it! I use mainly acrylics as my preferred medium to express, explore and experiment. I love layering paint to achieve the depth of color and texture that best describes my style.

Jan Romeiser
Jan took all the art classes in High School. She went to college, but not for art. Married at 21, worked, started a family at 27, did very little painting. After years of not picking up a paint brush, at age 50, her daughters bought her everything she needed to start painting again. Her husband encouraged her to paint and the love for oil painting was rekindled.
Jan has been painting for over 20 years. She prefers painting with oils, but has dabbled in water color and acrylics. Has taken classes and workshops with local artists like Pat Rini Rohrer, Judy Soprano, Steve BonDurant, Kevin Feary and Elaine Liberio.
Besides studio painting, Jan enjoys getting outside to paint "Plein Air" (but only if the weather is good. haha) and you may hear her singing as she paints.
Jan is a member of several Finger Lakes art groups

Yui Kinney
Born in Thailand and now painting between cultures, I create acrylic and watercolor paintings that connect the spiritual and natural worlds. I believe animals are more than subjects—they’re silent teachers, symbols of wisdom, protectors of forgotten forests, and voices of hope.
My art combines realism with a mystical touch: golden keys, floating crowns, moonlit symbols, and dramatic carry layered meaning in each piece. I’m inspired by ancient Thai legends like the Himmapan Forest, where mythical creatures journey toward enlightenment—a theme I’ve reimagined in my series Unlocking Himmapan. Other series like From Ashes to Hope reflect on animals affected by wildfires and climate change, offering a message of strength, healing, and renewal.
Through my art, I hope to create spaces where viewers can slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel a sense of wonder. Whether you’re an art lover, collector, or curious visitor—thank you for being here. Your support keeps this dream alive.

Ann Hallick
Most of my work life was in Human Resources, sales and customer services and personal coaching. Now, I'm retired and enjoying my retirement. My mother was an award winning watercolor and collage artist. An inspiration to me in so many ways; she had an incredible innate sense of design.
For years my creative outlet was only pottery. I do both hand building and work on potter's wheel. I love it, but shortly after I retired I saw an advertisement for a class in collage. Of course I thought of my mother and I attended the class. Well, I took to collage like, as they say, a "duck takes to water." I'm now loving being creative in watercolor/collage world.
My work is unique. OK, we artists may always say that...LOL. Sometimes I simply create collages with papers I collect but the "unique" part comes into play as I alter papers using a technique that changes the ink configuration. I start with papers and magazine pages and treat them with a nontoxic solvent that results in creating really cool colors and patterns. Then I "study" these pages and it feels like the piece reveals itself to me. I proceed from there. Sometimes I add watercolor to my collages and sometimes I simply collage. I'm having so much fun!
I'm a member of the Penfield Art Association and participate in several of their art shows a year. In 2024 I won Best in Collage/ Multimedia category. So far this year (2025), I've won 2 Jurors Awards. I'm also an active participant in the Perinton Recreation Art Group and have my art in their Art Show Sales events. Additionally I have a retail display at the Artisan Cove gift shop at 52 Lakeshore Drive in Canandaigua, NY.

Elaine Liberio
Growing up in Phelps, NY, Elaine thinks the Finger Lakes area is the most beautiful place on earth. From her earliest memory all she wanted to do was become an artist and paint everything around her. She was greatly influenced by her uncle, Edward Lennon, an excellent oil painter in the Rochester area and as a young girl she would sit and watch him paint at his easel for hours at a time. It was her
uncle Eddie who gave Elaine her first set of oil paints at the age of 13. While she works in many
different media, oil would remain her favorite medium from that point on.
After college, where she majored in painting and printmaking, Elaine has continued to create art, teach classes and participate in shows, art fairs and plein air festivals. In 2019, Elaine began to
search for a store front to open an easily accessible art studio and gallery so she could offer classes
and workshops in her own space. She located the perfect spot at 208 E. Main St. in Palmyra, NY,
rented, renovated and opened Liberio Art in the heart of historic Palmyra on May 30, 2020. At Liberio Art she offered group and private instruction in oil, watercolor, drawing, mixed media and much more.
A well rounded art education is what she strived to teach. She also has some fun, one day
workshops, like "Oil Painting with Rags - No Brushes Allowed". In 2021 & 2022, she sponsored and managed the “Paint Palmyra” Plein Air Painting Festival as a fundraiser to benefit the Palmyra Fire Company.
After almost 5 years of being located on E. Main St. in Palmyra, (and being there 5-6 days per week), she closed the studio in December of 2024 and moved back to her home studio. She decided that it was time to move on to new adventures that give her more flexibility.
Elaine is a current member of Western Wayne Art Group; the Ontario County Arts Council; Yates County Arts Council; and the Palmyra Artists Group. She also has an informal group of artist friends that she shares artistic creativity with. Elaine is currently teaching classes at 71 Main St. Art Gallery in Canandaigua (formerly Pat Rini Rohrer Art Gallery). You may also find her classes at other venues
from time to time.
She strives to instill passion for the creative arts in the hearts of others and to give her students the instruction they need to make amazing art. Her philosophy of art is simple. God’s inspiration fills her until it overflows as she creates and teaches. If her art stirs you in some way, then she feels she has
been a success. Can you see yourself in one of her landscapes or does her art remind you of a
person, place or time?

Karen Hargrave
Just a girl from Walworth NY. I have had many jobs and many artistic outlets in my life and have loved it all. Upon retiring from a busy ER in Tampa Florida Just before the height of Covid I moved back to New York , that I love and live in a beautiful little studio apartment that My Son built for me.
Wanted to work on something creative but did not have much space. Question ,what would be an in-expensive craft that I could start and work on in a small space ? Decided I would start to watercolor paint. I had not done any painting since high school, but it was inexpensive and could be done in a small space, I decided to paint every day until I could paint something I could be proud of and hang in my apartment.
Lo and behold I never realized that I would fall in love with watercolor painting all over again. I took classes on line and also had the privilege of taking classes with Elaine Liberio my mentor. With encouragement of family, friends and Elaine I have painted many pictures that I am proud of. I hope that you will enjoy my paintings that Pete and wife have graciously offered to hang in their beautiful restaurant.

Karen Bader
As a young child, Karen spent the majority of her downtime outdoors. Being raised in the countryside, she found the freedom and beauty of nature both exciting and calming at the same time. It’s these senses, these days of endless wonder that instilled in her a passion to create and replicate the beauty of nature. It was also during this young age that she can recall admiring a cousin’s enormous oil seascape in the most fabulous blues. The strength of the waves, the power of blues, stayed with
her.....simmering..... waiting to be ignited. Fast forward, married, mother, retirement and that little simmer found its way out. One quiet long day of retirement she asked herself– can I be an artist? Leading with that, Karen quickly set up a small corner as her art space. Since no experience, signing up for a pastel class sounded like a good plan. Quickly realizing, maybe a drawing class should have been first. Now, few years later, various classes, workshops and a lot of time studying in her much larger studio room now, she is able to answer that question....yes she can be an artist (kind of – one never knows the mind of an artist). Pastels were her first medium (her first love). There is just something about having the actual pigment laid with your fingers that makes me feel joy. Recently, Karen is
challenging herself to work in oils and acrylics. Her painting style leans toward the impressionism / suggestive style with a splash of...
Karen is a member of the Penfield Art Association. Serving as the clubs Program Chair and as the curator for Penfield’s Town Hall Exhibition (quarterly). She is also a member of the Pastel Society of Western NY. Her paintings have won multiple Juror and Merit awards in both pastel and oils, and have found their way into many homes.
When asked, Karen says she hopes that viewers will be drawn in with her initial vision, her selection of colors and images, and then engage their mind to finish up in a place of
happiness.

Nancy Mix
About nine years ago I had a good friend introduce me to watercolor and I fell in love. I didn’t have any formal training in art so I just started playing with watercolor to see what could be accomplished. To better my skills I enrolled in classes at Rochester’s Memorial Art Gallery (MAG), with local artists and on line. Over time I recognized drawing classes would be a benefit and through them developed a love for realistic graphite drawing. Graphite led me into adding ink to my chosen mediums.
I routinely meet up with fellow artists at the Perinton Rec Center for casual working groups and I show my work in the Spring and Fall Art Events. I’m also a member of Penfield Art Association and have participated in their shows. Most days I devote time to art whether it is drawing with graphite, painting with watercolor, using ink or working on my creative cards. Art has become an important part of my creative outlet and living.
